2011

2010 is gonna be a hard year to beat! We were somehow privileged enough to play shows with bands like Mae, John Nolan, Harvard, Sainthood Reps, The Felix Culpa, Terrible Things, The Sleeping, Gabriel The Marine, and Ocean is Theory. We are truly honored and humbled. We were also lucky enough to forge lifelong friendships with fellow local CT/NY musicians The Astounding, The Framecell, Cavadas and Aesthetic Waves, and to record our first EP with the multi-talented ‘oxygenstar’ <3. But the best thing of all, is that we were able to get to know and perform for all of you :). You’re the greatest fans ever. Thank you so much for the support in 2010, and we promise to make it more worthwhile in 2011. We love you all so much!! <3

Next up is a show with The Memorials (ex-Mars Volta) and Just Like Vinyl (ex-Fall of Troy) in February. In addition to a few surprises along the way. Get excited! We are :D

some lyrics :P

the first thing you said to me brought me straight to tears

saw the halo in your hospital bed, it was growing with our fears

it’s not your fault, but this is all your fault

it’s not your fault, but this is all your fault

so i’ll bite my tongue again, chew until it hurts

always looking for someone else, we forget what we are worth

because we’re ugly, but we’re so beautiful

we try so hard, to be beautiful.

will it be a song? i don’t knowwww :P

Preparing to settle into a new (hopefully permanent) practice space. We’ll post pics of Breakthrough HQ as soon as we’re all moved in :D.

Lee and I worked on some new song ideas earlier. Then me and Gonz beat Star Fox 64. Good times. I love these boys.
